Dr. Hein is the director of a research and teaching company, the Mount Baldy Institute, founded in 1997, to give people the opportunity to learn remote viewing. He also has taken people on crop circle tours in the UK. He has written several books prior to his latest book, including Opening Minds: A Journey of Extraordinary Encounters, Crop Circles, and Resonance (2002) and Black Swan Ghosts: A sociologist encounters witnesses to unexplained aerial craft, occupants, and other multiverse elements (2017).
