The Art as a Tool for Change Publication is a collection of photos and writing about Art as an empowering tool to facilitate critical dialogue around feminism, anti-racism, 2SLGBTQAI+ rights, and environmental activism. This project ran from October 2021 to March 2022. It explores how art inspires and promotes social change and justice. This project highlights queer, women-identifying, and BIPOC artists’ through events such as panel discussions, workshops, artist talks, film screenings, work-sharing events, and live performances, culminating in a group exhibition and presentation series. This book includes photos of the featured artworks produced during the project as well as the essays and writing from the curator, project lead, mentors, and artists involved.
