Cooking with Math is an educational program designed for K5 kids (Ages 6-12) that combines basic math skills with fun and interactive cooking activities.


The core objectives are:

c. Encourage Critical Thinking

d. Promote a Love for Math


The objective for Fraction Pizza is to teach students about fractions using a creative pizza-making concept.

Activity Description:

i.     For K-2. To introduce students to the concept of fractions and help them understand that fractions represent equal parts of a whole.

ii.     For 3-5. To reinforce and deepen students' understanding of fractions, fractions as numbers, and the concept of equivalent fractions.


Learning Outcomes:

i.           For K-2. Students will learn to identify and name simple fractions such as halves, thirds, and quarters.

ii.           For 3-5. Students will be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions, identify more complex fractions beyond halves, thirds, and quarters.
