” Bubble Boy” explores childhood play through a bold, abstract lens. The print reimagines the simple act of blowing bubbles into a fragmented, cubist-inspired composition that invites viewers to slow down and examine form, rhythm, and movement.

Through intersecting planes and vibrant textures, the child’s gaze remains calm and focused amid a swirling constellation of orbs- each bubble a soft contradiction to the graphic structure of the face. It’s a visual dance between control and freedom, structure and spontaneity.

This piece was hand-carved and hand-printed using oil-based ink on archival paper. The printmaking process ensures each impression has its own slight variations, adding a unique touch to every edition.
