This class is geared towards those with clay experience that can: make a cylinder and bowl, either on the wheel (center, open up, set the floor, and pull) or by handbuilding. This is great for anyone that has taken either Intro to Wheel or Mixed Level Handbuilding and feels ready for next steps. 

In this class you’ll discover the endless world of choices for the surfaces of your ceramics. You’ll be amazed at how much you can transform your pieces and create your own unique style! You’ll learn techniques like sgraffito, underglaze transfer, layering with stencils, underglaze painting, pattern carving, stamp making, and more.  Class fee is $315 which includes a bag of clay, glazing and firing fees, and use of all tools and equipment, plus open studio access Thursday through Monday.
