Your luminescent book Tropical Rhapsody allows me the opportunity to appreciate the continuity and singularity of your poetic work. A voice that travels across the art of loving as enlightened by the exactly chosen word, yet without concealing the second essential truth: its inexorable journey towards death. I have walked some of those roads with you, and I have thought highly of the way you have brightened the experience by driving away shadows and clearing the path for you to continue. Your poetry celebrates both love and affliction, friendship, times and places you have shared with many others who have accompanied you on your voyage.
