Explore key elements of project design in greater depth, including how to select or modify a weaving draft, how to test and evaluate differences in sett and beat, how to calculate how much yarn your project requires and how much your project will shrink after it comes off the loom. Participants will create several samples and gain confidence in experimentation.
Class meets in downtown Columbia on Friday from 5-8p; Saturday from 9a-5p; and Sunday from noon-5p.
Course fee of $130.00 includes instruction, use of a floor loom, and all materials.
Non-refundable deposit of $30.00 secures your space in the class. Balance of $100.00 due on first day of class.
