Huck lace is often showcased in monochromatic linen table runners, towels, or napkins. But this weave structure offers much more opportunity for creative exploration. With options for warp floats, weft floats, and color variations, the combinations are almost endless. Huck lace fabric can be used in curtains, towels, yardage, even as a base for surface embroidery.
Students should have some prior weaving experience. Understanding of the huck lace weave structure is helpful, but not required. Warps will be provided and each student will dress the loom with support from the instructor.
