Yoga Style: Restorative

 

Dantian Yoga is a form of yoga that focuses on breathing with awareness of the Dantian.

 

The Dantian is located about 3 inches below the navel and is the source of life energy.

 

By focusing on the Dantian and performing Dantian breathing, the immunity of the entire body is enhanced as it is stimulated and activated.

 

There is resting time, Shavasana, between poses. This allows the stimulation of the poses and the flow of blood and chi throughout the body.


The type of yoga is recommended if you:

  • want to activate and to balance the autonomic nervous system
  • want to balance femininity and masculinity
  • want to activate your internal organs
  • want to learn a new breathing technique
  • want to create clarity in your mind and spirit
  • want to reach higher realms of consciousness

What to bring:Yoga mat, Water, Wipes (if you want to clean your feet before practicing Rakkenhou)


Instructor: Naomi Nakamura


Naomi has been a passionate yogi for 17 years. She started practicing yoga to improve her health after she received a diagnosis of endometriosis.


She started teaching Dantian Yoga since 2007 in Japan. She is fascinated by the resilience and mystical power inherent in the human body through conscious breathing and Restorative postures. Now she is passionate about bringing it to each one of you.
