On the evening of May 9, 2024 a large and powerful thunderstorm struck the VFW in San Marcos, TX. Our roof was badly damaged. We are looking at a $16,000 deductible in order to make repairs. While we have enough to cover the deductible, this will wipe out more than half of the funds raised over the past several years.
