After finishing a group of recordings and mixing sessions, Niles' voice and songwriting abilities also garnered him a seat at the table of Randy Jackson (American Idol) for some co-write opportunities.Burgeoning under all that music, is the heart of an actor. Niles' acting gift speaks volumes about the depth of his passion for this craft. Niles Rivers studied acting at the Cleveland Karamu Theatre with Margaret Ford-Taylor, Showcase Dramatic Theatre (N.Y.) with Sylvia Leigh and Felix Hernandez, AIA (LA)/Craig Campo-Basso, and The West End Acting Studio with Candy Kaniecki.While playing the lead role of "Lou" in Leslie Lee's "First Breeze of Summer" at the Stella Adler Theatre in L.A., the company invited the author to come and enjoy their production of his work. Mr. Lee said to Niles after the show, "Did you know that you were playing me? ...You nailed it!".Niles also performed in the fast paced, two-man show "J.O.B the Hip Hop Opera" at the New York Musical Theatre Festival and received an Ovation Award Nomination for "Featured Actor in a Musical" for the role of"Victor" in Smokey Joe's Cafe. Niles was heralded as "One of the best'Simba's we've ever seen!" in the Las Vegas cast of the hit Broadway Musical, Disney's The Lion King. And recently landed and performed his first lead role in a feature film called, "One Last Prayer", which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
