A very gentle yoga class followed by a guided relaxation.
This class will begin with a very gentle yoga practice aimed at relieving tight muscles and getting your body ready to relax. We will continue with a little breathwork, also called pranayama. Finally we will settle into Savasana, or any other relaxation pose that is most comfortable for your body, for a guided relaxation called Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is translated as βYogic Sleepβ and is a type of guided deep relaxation that aims at leading you to that point just before sleep where you are still aware of your surroundings but very deeply relaxed. Yoga Nidra can help relieve stress and anxiety, improve sleep, release deeply held tension, among countless other benefits.
