Our 2024 Christmas ornament features the newest building on our grounds: a five-stall railroad roundhouse that is a reduced-size replica of the Northern Pacific Railway roundhouse located between Paradise and Plains in the 1930s.

What is a roundhouse doing on the playground? One of our goals is to preserve Paradise's rich railroad history. Many of the items we wish to display are too big for the classroom building. Some of them will be on display in the appropriate exhibit stall: railroads and passengers, railroads and freight, railroads and the US mail, tie treating plant operations, and roundhouse operations. We need additional funds to complete the siding. Your purchase and a possible additional donation help us finish that work.
