This report includes the general findings of Future Partners' research on the use of TikTok and short-form vertical video for travel planning. The primary objectives of this study were to: Assess how American TikTok users are currently using the platform, generally as well as specifically for travel planning and inspiration. Understand American short-form video usersβ perceptions of branded and sponsored content on the platform, and compare these perceptions to their attitude toward user-generated and influencer content. Gain insight into how travel brands are performing among this lucrative audience.
