PALS:

This course covers:

• Recognition and treatment of infants and children at risk for cardiac arrest
• The systematic approach to pediatric assessment
• Effective respiratory management
• Defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion
• Intraosseous access and fluid bolus adminstration
• Effective resusciation team dynamics

Students who are thinking about taking this course must be proficient in performing CPR, ECG rhythm interpretation, ACLS pharmacology, and be able to apply all three in practical application.

ACLS

This one day course is intended for indivduals that are

profiecent in the ACLS concept and are renewing there

ACLS certification. ACLS Course Includes:

• BLS Primary Survey and ACLS Secondary Survey
• Airway Management
• Defibrillation
• Rhythm Recognition
• IV Access
• Use of Medications
• Cardioversion
• Transcutaneous Pacing
• 1-rescuer CPR and AED
• Effective Resuscitation Dynamics.
