Special K3 is an experimental audio visual showcase featuring a seasoned line up of interdisciplinary artists. Hosted by KEPK and curated in collaboration with Made Now Music, this evening event will take place at the heart of in the inner South Brisbane industrial area. Special K3 features projection based works by Kellie O’Dempsey, Unregistered Master Builder, Chris Bennie, and Abstract Human Radio. Special K3 showcases the blurred lines between  jazz, dub, post classical and techno using hardware, electro-acoustic instruments and Hybrid DJ sets.

KEPK is a creative hub, gallery, studio and community located in an old plywood factory in Yeerongpilly. It aims to provide a space for developing creative projects, practice, and for showcasing art exhibitions and experimental audiovisual projects. Special K3 is a presentation of the plurality of KEPK’s creative output. Featuring a line up of local and interstate artists.

The lineup includes Kellie O’Dempsy and Mick Dick, Olympic Pool Maintenance League, Madeleine Cocolas and Unregistered Master Builder, Josten Myburgh (Perth) and the Brodie McAllister Trio. The event will be feature the “Party Button” by Steph Piper.
