Outgoing, friendly and intelligent, Goldendoodles, known as the designer dog, loves people and get along great with other pets. They tend to be patient and gentle with young children — making them a fantastic choice for families. They are far too friendly to make good guard dogs or watchdogs and would more likely try to befriend a stranger than warn them off. Hyper by nature, Goldendoodles usually calm down by the age of three.

Poodles are good family dogs — fun, energetic, smart, and easy to train. They do best with plenty of exercise for both mind and body and prefer to be with people most of the time. They are not good kennel dogs. Socialization should begin early and include other people, other pets and a grooming routine.
