(paintings will be ready to go home a week later; we'll arrange pick up times after class)
11:00 am - 12:30 pm
$35 per person
at Central Creatives in The Piano Works
East Rochester, NY 14445
You'll get more specific directions and details when you register.
What do you supply?
An 8x10 canvas, a mini practice canvas, paints, pouring materials, pouring supplies - everything you need to create a piece of artwork.
What do I need to bring?
Pour painting can be messy and acrylic paints don't wash out of fabric. Wear or bring clothes or an apron you don't mind getting icky.
I don't have any artistic ability or experience. Can I still come to the class?
YES! There is zero experience necessary to join us. In fact, this class is designed specifically for people who are curious about painting but are afraid to try. We'll be having fun in a low stakes, high support environment where mistakes are gifts and no one fails at anything.
No, you don't understand. I'm petrified to try this. What if I make a mistake?
My friend, I get it. Anxiety and panic attacks and fear of making mistakes are things I've struggled with my entire life. My workshops are designed to be welcoming, safe places where you can participate at your comfort level. I always offer an option for you to simply watch from the sidelines so you can be comfortable trying the next time. Honest. This is your time to play and experiment and make a mess and, most importantly, fail spectacularly and call it success.
