SpeakUpOrtho created the Journal Club for orthopaedic residency programs and orthopaedic practices to conduct meetings to address these important subjects. SpeakUpOrtho gathered a few critical articles and publications on the topics of discrimination, bullying, harassment and microaggressions in surgery.

‍The Journal Club program includes five critical publications on these essential topics. We suggest a group discussion of each article in the following format:

5. Summary of take-home points. 

Discussion among participants is encouraged to generate a dialogue that leads to an understanding of the importance of tackling these challenging issues to make a difference in orthopaedics.
