Beau Tardy began working as an artist in 1984 in New York City. After dropping out of art school, he became involved in the East Village underground art scene getting his work published in the seminal East Village Eye. He ultimately ending up in the vaunted motion graphics department at MTV where he worked on award winning TV graphics including MTV News, Yo! MTV Raps, and The Real World.
