Creativity and self-doubt. How do we eradicate the mental conflict that arises when we wallow in the idea of perfectionism? Do we persevere and outwit the gnawing desire for perfection or focus on the alternative? The artist in this story represents a great many of those who sometimes become overwhelmed while striving for perfection. Although her ultimate reaction and actions might not be the right solution for everyone, for this artist it was a catharsis, which allowed her to explore an alternative form of expression.
